Conquer Anxiety with Confidence

If you can be okay with any sensation or emotion on the inside, then you will also be able to cope with anything that happens on the outside, for it is really the inner reaction that you fear. We just talked about how worry and anxiety become self-defeating when they prevent us from taking necessary action. But conveniently, if you've developed confidence in the fact that you would be able to handle a feared event, you will have already eliminated the need for much of your worry. Worry is a preoccupation with negative possibilities. But if you know you could any of those possibilities, then you will be less likely to dwell on them. Without worry and fear, you will conquer anxiety because it will no longer be able to take root.

Repeat the following affirmations, once again with a complete knowing that they're already true for you now. Speak the words as if with every cell of your being.

• I have the capacity to handle anything that happens.
• With this new ability, I can easily conquer anxiety.
• There is nothing I can't handle, only the mis-belief that I can't handle it.
• Instead of worrying, I just know that I am able to cope with any situation.
• I have the emotional strength to handle anything that comes my way.
• Since I can handle anything, I can now go through my fears.
• I will survive even if the worst case emotional scenario happens.
• When I feel fear, I continue taking action with confidence.
• I am now a brave person. I go through my fears.
• I appreciate my ability to handle any situation, any outcome.
• I have the skills to cope with any negative events and move on.

Confidence can be increased by trusting in your ability to solve problems or complications that arise, as they arise. Always remember that you can handle anything that happens. You have a strong mind. If you had the creativity to imagine the quantity of negative possibilities necessary to create anxiety, then you're also capable of conquering anxiety by finding solutions to the problems that really do come along. Problem solving ability is like a muscle in your mind. Exercise those muscles on a daily basis, when they're needed, and you will become a more and more effective person. By being aware that you are able to cope with, fix, or improve ANY undesirable situation, you will maintain a sense of control over your life and every event. That sense of control prevents situation from becoming stressful or traumatic. There is always something you can do. Repeat these thoughts:

• I have a powerful mind and am a strong problem solver.
• I put energy into finding positive solutions.
• I can always find a way to improve an undesirable circumstance.
• Every time I solve a problem and improve my life, I increase my mind power.

• I easily find new ways to live life in the way I want.
• My problem solving creativity is powerful.
• Because I can find solutions to any problem, I do not worry about them happening.
